Job summary

NHS Jobs is recruiting a Band 5 Community Nurse to join the Integrated Neighbourhood team at Malmesbury Primary Care Centre, SN16 0FB. The role involves assessing, planning, and delivering community-based nursing care, in patients’ homes or care settings, under supervision.

The successful candidate will work independently within the nursing process, supervise junior staff, and contribute to quality assurance. Fixed-term for 12 months; driving to patient homes required.

Qualifications

• NMC registration and nursing degree are essential.
• Proficient IT skills with common software.
• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in line with NMC standards.
• Plan, prioritise and deliver nursing care within the community setting.
• Supervise less experienced staff and contribute to quality assurance.
