Overview

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse passionate about making a real difference in patients’ lives? Our client - a leading and rapidly growing healthcare provider - is looking for a Community Nurse to deliver high-quality renal and peritoneal dialysis care in patients’ homes in the North East – around Durham, Stockton and Middlesbrough catchment areas. The role offers a salary of £40,840, paid mileage, and other benefits.

You will be working 5 days a week, starting at either 7am or 1pm, with no nights and weekends on rotation. Benefits include 31 days of annual leave (including bank holidays) and an extra day off for your birthday, a private pension, car scheme and additional bonuses.

Our client focuses on delivering exceptional services in both home and clinical settings, caring for renal and dialysis patients in their own homes in the North East.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with Peritoneal Dialysis (PD).
  • Provide safe nursing care, including Peritoneal Dialysis, IV medication administration, and more.
  • Set up patients’ automated PD machines.
  • Visit patients to connect and disconnect them from their PD.
  • Monitor observations such as blood pressure and weight to ensure the correct regime.
  • Provide peritoneal catheter site care and dressing changes.
  • Support both Adult & Paediatric patients in their own homes.

Ideal Candidate
  • Current NMC qualifications as a Registered General Nurse or Children’s Nurse.
