Job overview
We are looking for a Clinical Lead Nurse to join our Continence Service at KCHFT.
We are a team of Bladder and Bowel Specialist Nurses, Pelvic Health Physiotherapists, and Assistant Practitioners with expertise in the care and treatment of bladder, bowel, and pelvic health conditions, including pelvic floor dysfunction, continence, and incontinence support. We are supported by our administrative team. We offer services to clients in Ashford, Canterbury, Coastal, South Kent Coast, Thanet, and West Kent areas.
Main duties of the job
As the Clinical Lead Nurse, you will oversee and support the management of a complex clinical caseload of patients with specialist clinical services as an autonomous practitioner.
You will act as a role model for junior team members, demonstrating high skill and knowledge in your specialist area of clinical practice.
You will participate in the education and training of staff and students, leading internal and external training programs.
The role involves 80% clinical work and 20% service development, depending on the clinical specialty.
