Do you aspire to make a positive contribution to nursing in the community and work within a community nursing team?
The community nursing team across Peterborough is currently offering opportunities for both full-time and part-time hours working within CPFT.
We provide services several days a week, working closely with other community services and PCNs to deliver high-standard holistic care to the population of Peterborough.
You will have opportunities to develop your skills, with extensive learning and development opportunities.
Please note: For this role, you will be required to travel independently around the county, meeting strict time deadlines. You must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle. Public transport cannot be used for this role as it is unreliable and will not meet service needs. Please confirm in your application that you meet these criteria.
As a community staff nurse, you will work as an autonomous practitioner within the multidisciplinary community nursing team. You will provide high standards of nursing care and interventions within the patient's own home, supported by the wider team.
The patient will be at the center of care, with participation in decision-making. You will be responsible for assessing, interpreting, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment for patients within professional guidelines. Care will be holistic, based on patient needs.
You will also have opportunities to support and educate peers, new staff, and students.
