An established healthcare provider is seeking a motivated nurse to join their Community Neonatal Outreach Team. We are looking for a motivated confident nurse to join our Community Neonatal Outreach Team (NCOT). We provide a 7 day service supporting families transferred home from our Level 3 Neonatal Unit which is part of the Staffordshire, Shropshire & Black Country Neonatal Operational Delivery Network and includes 7 ICU, 7 HDU and 12 SCBU cots. The neonatal unit is embedded within the Women's and Neonatal directorate ensuring seamless care throughout pregnancy, birth and postnatal period; including our recently restructured Transitional care ward which can support 12 mothers. Nurses will have the opportunity to work within all areas, developing skills and knowledge.
RWT neonatal unit is committed to working to nationally recognised staffing standards and to achieving Baby Friendly standards in order to provide excellent family centred and psychosocial care for our patients and families.
We provide support and training both in-house and via the local University and New-born Network. All nurses will be expected and supported to undertake neonatal nurse foundation course and the qualified in specialty course within two years.
This is a rotational post, working within all of the neonatal clinical areas. Ideally the post holder would commence within the Neonatal Unit to gain experience prior to rotating out to the community team.
