We are looking to recruit a Band 7 clinically credible midwife with a broad range of midwifery experience. (Although this role is at 20 hours as a Band 7, we can also consider other hours alongside this role as a Band 6.) You will utilise your excellent clinical skills to support community teams in delivering high-quality care and be open to embracing positive change and transformation to meet the needs of women in the local population.
The post holder will play a key part in the development and transformation of the Maternity Service in line with the recommendations set out in Better Births. You need to be self-motivated, dynamic, enthusiastic, and an effective communicator. A passion for community midwifery and a drive for ongoing learning and development are essential.
The post holder is responsible for supporting and coordinating a multi-professional team within the community, providing an interconnected, supportive network across the maternity service and wider Trust.
