Job summary

United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Grantham is seeking a Community Midwifery Administrator (Band 2) to support midwives with clerical duties and patient administration at Grantham District Hospital.

We are looking for reliable team players with strong communication and IT skills; NHS mindset and commitment to compassionate care are essential. This role offers part of the NHS Agenda for Change framework and a supportive working environment.

Qualifications

• Literacy and numeracy qualifications equivalent at GCSE grades A*-C, or Functional skills level 2.
• NVQ Level II Health Care or equivalent.
• Care Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist Midwives and other professional staff in the provision of clerical care and housekeeping duties.
• Adhere to ULHT protocols, policies and guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and organised ward/clinic environment and assist in stock management.
• Transmit, store and retrieve information using the PAS system and track notes.
• Communicate effectively with women, visitors and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
