We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Community Mental Health Practitioner to work within our Community Mental Health Service. The service offers support to people with severe & enduring mental illness as well as a comprehensive brief intervention system for people requiring a specialist mental health short term service.
The service has bases at Oswestry and at Market Drayton and covers a geographic area across north Shropshire. You will need to travel independently over a large geographical area and will require suitable transport.
This service is expanding, and it is an exciting time to join the service as a highly skilled NMC Registered Nurse or Social Work England Registered Social Worker.
North Shropshire Community Mental Health Team is a multi-disciplinary service providing assessment and intervention for adults experiencing complex emotional and mental health difficulties as part of the Adult Mental Health Service.
As a Mental Health Community Practitioner you will be expected to undertake holistic comprehensive assessments and formulation of complex clinical presentations, including risk assessments and risk management.
