Job description

Kingdom Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse to join our NHS client’s dedicated mental health team in Barking. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic community setting, delivering essential mental health care to service users.

As a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting patients through comprehensive, person-centred care. You’ll manage a caseload under the Care Programme Approach (CPA), acting as a key worker and making meaningful impacts in the lives of individuals with complex mental health needs.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Management of cases under CPA
  • Acting as key worker for service users
  • Conducting initial assessments and reviews
  • Participating in team duty rotation, including:
    • Administration of depot injections
    • Monitoring medication compliance
    • Mental state examinations and ongoing assessments

We’re looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse with proven community experience, confident in managing clinical risk, and passionate about delivering high-quality care in the community.

As a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse, you will collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams and support the development of recovery-focused care plans tailored to individuals. You’ll be expected to work autonomously, manage your time effectively, and contribute to the team’s overall success.
