Job summary

Capability Scotland is seeking Community Living Assistants to support adults with disabilities in Renfrewshire and Glasgow. You will provide personal care, assist with daily living tasks and help maintain independence within the community.

The role offers permanent opportunities with full-time, part-time and relief positions, rotating shifts, and mileage reimbursement. A driving licence and PVG checks are required; benefits include pension and training support.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults in care, support or community settings.
• Holds a full UK manual driving licence.
• Flexible with rotating shifts including evenings, weekends and nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Support medication routines.
• Assist with meal preparation and daily living tasks.
• Help people maintain their homes and tenancies.
• Support communication and independence.
• Accompany people to appointments, education, shopping and social activities.
• Encourage hobbies, interests and community participation.
• Provide one-to-one or two-to-one support based on needs.
