Derbyshire County Council's Derbyshire Adult Community Education Service (DACES) is seeking a Programme Development Worker to expand provision across Bolsover district and strengthen partnerships with health, wellbeing, and community organisations.

You will identify local learning needs, engage adults facing barriers to learning, and create opportunities that improve confidence, wellbeing and progression.

Competenze

• Qualified to teach in post-16 education (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma or equivalent).
• Experience building productive partnerships in community/health/public sectors.
• Understanding of how learning improves health, wellbeing and life opportunities.
• Experience with adults with learning disabilities/additional needs.
• Understands barriers to learning and community participation.
• Identifies opportunities and develops innovative local programmes.
• Excellent communication, networking and relationship-building skills.
• Organised, self-motivated and able to manage a varied workload.
• Committed to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
• Passion for helping adults achieve potential through learning.

• Develop and maintain partnerships with health, wellbeing, social prescribing, community and learning organisations in Bolsover district.
• Identify local learning needs and develop opportunities with partners.
• Support programmes that improve health, wellbeing, confidence, independence and inclusion.
• Develop supported learning opportunities for adults with learning disabilities.
• Engage adults who may be isolated, disadvantaged or facing barriers to learning.
• Work with tutors and partners to develop innovative learning programmes.
• Support learners to progress into further learning, volunteering or employment.
• Monitor programme performance and contribute to quality improvement.
• Undertake teaching, assessment and learner support as agreed with the Programme Development Manager.
