Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust in Weymouth & Portland seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Learning Disability team, working across community settings and in a co-located health and social care environment. You will support adults with learning disabilities, work within a multidisciplinary team, and engage in hybrid work with travel by car.

A driving licence is essential and an enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Learning Disabilities is not vital, but desire to work with this client group is important.
• Broad range of clinical experience essential for the role.
• Experience with adults with neurological or complex health needs is desirable.
• Hybrid working (home and office) is available for this post.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate development of the full range of function (physical, cognitive, interpersonal and intrapersonal) in productive, self-care and leisure activities for people with Learning Disabilities.
• Provide OT assessment and treatment across community settings in Weymouth & Portland.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to support clients and families.
• Travel as required to Trust sites; DBS check will be completed before appointment.
