Job summary
South West London & St George's Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Dietitian to join the Community Learning Disabilities team. You will provide specialist nutritional assessments and interventions for adults with learning disabilities, with a strong emphasis on home enteral feeding (HEF).
You will work autonomously within a supportive MDT, delivering person-centred care across diverse community settings.
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian with HCPC registration.
- Experience in home enteral feeding (HEF) essential.
- Strong communication and collaborative working skills.
- Ability to deliver person-centred care in complex needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage a defined caseload of adults with learning disabilities in community settings.
- Conduct comprehensive, person-centred dietetic assessments.
- Monitor and review clients on home enteral feeding.
- Liaise with enteral feeding providers and MDT members.
- Advise on ACBS-approved products and nutrition supplements.
- Plan menus, texture modification and fortification.
- Attend weekly MDT meetings for dietetic referrals and care planning.
