Job summary

South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Community Learning Disabilities Dietitian to join the Wandsworth team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on learning disabilities and community nutrition, with emphasis on home enteral feeding and complex nutritional needs.

The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred nutrition care, support carers and service users, and contribute to ongoing service

Qualifications

• Qualified Dietitian with HCPC registration.
• Experience in community nutrition or learning disabilities is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist nutritional assessment and intervention for adults with learning disabilities in community settings.
• Manage a defined caseload including home enteral feeding and dysphagia.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and caregivers to support nutrition goals.
• Liaise with enteral feeding providers and supply chains for feeds and equipment.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
