Job summary

AutonoMe is recruiting an Employment Specialist to cover North Lincolnshire on a home-based contract. You will travel to meet participants, employers and stakeholders, delivering IPS-based employment support and maintaining progress toward individual goals.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, excellent communication, and the ability to manage a caseload while meeting targets. The position is full-time and fixed-term until April 2029 with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience of Supported Employment or the IPS model.
• Experience working with people with mental health needs, health conditions, neurodiversity, disabilities, or similar client groups.
• Demonstrated experience in one-to-one client support.
• Proven ability to meet performance targets and manage a caseload.
• Ability to manage time, workload and priorities independently.
• Experience supporting people to obtain or retain employment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence employers and stakeholders.
• Proactive, confident outreach to participants, employers or stakeholders.
• Based in or near North Lincolnshire with ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Delivering the Supported Employment or IPS approach in line with fidelity requirements (training provided).
• Support participants through all stages of their employment journey: profiling, planning, job search, placement and in-work support.
• Build relationships with local employers to create job opportunities.
• Achieve contractual targets including starts, job outcomes and job retention.
• Guide participants across locations to use the App, build skills and pursue employment goals.
• Manage relationships with participants, employers, health professionals and partners.
• Manage time and diary efficiently to ensure participant progress.
• Maintain participant records and evidence in the CRM per fidelity model requirements.
