Job summary

Serco Limited in Rushmoor is hiring a HGV Refuse and Recycling Driver to deliver a full waste and recycling service to local residents and businesses. You will work on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with start times around 6.30am and a route-based workload.

You’ll be a reliable public face in the community, carrying out vehicle safety checks, maintaining a clean vehicle, and supporting loaders to complete rounds efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 or 2 driving licence and a Driver CPC (CPC).
• Physically fit and healthy due to the nature of the work.
• Dedicated, friendly and professional team player.
• Willing to go the extra mile on rounds to help the team hit targets.

Responsibilities

• Complete a pre-planned route as the driver with loaders, collecting waste and recycling from properties.
• Be the public face of Serco in the community.
• Ensure vehicle safety checks are completed and that the truck is clean and work ready.
