Job summary
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) in North Wales is seeking a Band 5 community staff nurse to join the immunisation team based at Saltney Health Clinic. You will visit schools and community settings to deliver vaccines to school aged children and travel across Wrexham and Flintshire, delivering the nasal flu programme and high school vaccines including HPV, DTP, MenACWY and MMR.
Applicants must hold current NMC registration and be prepared to work within a Welsh/English bilingual
Qualifications
- Essential criteria: First Level Registered Nurse (RGN).
- Evidence of ongoing education & Professional Development.
- Desirable criteria: RN Children's Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Visit schools and other community settings to deliver immunisations to school aged children.
- Travel between sites across Wrexham and Flintshire; deliver the nasal flu programme and high school vaccinations (HPV, DTP, Men ACWY, MMR).
