Job summary

Kingsgrove Community Hub in Wantage seeks a part-time Hub Manager to lead daily operations, promote community use, and collaborate with the Board and volunteers. The role requires flexibility for evenings and occasional weekends to support events and meetings.

Working with staff, volunteers and hirers, you will ensure the facility operates efficiently, remains financially sustainable, and provides a welcoming experience for users across the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, community development, venue management, hospitality or related fields.
• Experience coordinating projects, activities or services.
• Experience working with volunteers, customers or community groups.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation and ensure the Hub runs smoothly.
• Develop and maintain procedures, bookings and relationships with hirers.
• Promote the Hub and engage with local organisations and residents.
• Support budgeting, fundraising and grant activities as needed.
• Provide training and support to volunteers and future staff.
