Job summary

Surrey Downs Health & Care invites applications for a Healthcare Support Worker within our community nursing team in Leatherhead. You will provide care and support to patients in the community, undertaking delegated tasks and developing skills to enhance care quality within a supportive NHS service.

The role supports a 7-day service from 8.30am to 6.30pm with flexible coverage across the week, and a team that values patient dignity, professional development and a one-team culture.

Qualifications

• Delivering holistic care with the patient at the center.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a community health team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in specialist care under supervision of Registered Nurses.
• Undertake diagnostic tests on request of District Nurses, Community Matron or GP.
• Maintain clear, signed records according to procedures.
• Work as part of the team and support administrative duties as needed.
