Job summary

Healthcare Assistant opportunity with Surrey Downs Health and Care, delivering community nursing support in Leatherhead PCN. You will provide care and support to patients in the community, performing delegated tasks under the supervision of registered nurses, and developing skills within a supportive NHS team.

The post is part of a seven-day service from 8:30am to 6:30pm with flexible weekend work. We welcome applicants with or without community NHS experience and offer training to grow within

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and time management skills; able to deliver holistic patient-centred care.
• Comfort with working in community settings and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills within NHS community services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in specialist care under supervision of Registered Nurses.
• Undertake diagnostic tests and home visits as requested by district nurses or GPs.
• Carry out clinical interventions as delegated by senior team members.
