Job summary

Provide CIC in the UK is seeking a Pharmacist to join its Community Health Services Pharmacy Team, influencing medicines optimisation, patient safety and quality improvement across community settings.

You will lead on Non-Medical Prescribing, medicines governance, and service development, working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care and drive service transformation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience with significant Community Health Services.
• Experience of working on wards.
• Experience in governance and risk management for medicines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support medicines optimisation across Provide services to ensure they are safe, effective, patient-centred, and evidence-based.
• Provide expert clinical pharmacy advice to multidisciplinary teams, supporting safe management and optimisation of medicines.
• Lead the pharmaceutical aspects of Sexual Health Services, including medicines governance, data review and reporting.
• Act as the professional lead for Non-Medical Prescribing, supporting governance, safe prescribing, and service improvement.
• Support identification, management, and mitigation of medicines-related risks to patient safety.
• Drive quality improvement, audits and service evaluations to enhance medicines use and patient outcomes.
• Contribute to development and redesign of patient pathways with medicines optimisation embedded.
