Job summary

The Diocese of Carlisle is seeking a Giving Advisor to join our Finance & Stewardship team to work with parishes across the Diocese to help facilitate growth in generosity and giving. This position has been funded through the Church of England National Giving Strategy.

Current funding for the role is secured until the end of 2028 and the successful candidate will receive support through the National Stewardship Network, including conferences and training.

Qualifications

• Passion for fundraising and community generosity.
• Strong transferable skills and team spirit.
• Experience in fundraising not required.

Responsibilities

• Support parishes across the Diocese of Carlisle to grow generosity and giving.
• Collaborate with the Head of Local Ministry Finance & Stewardship and wider Diocesan team.
