Job summary

Alliance Homes Group in Weston-Super-Mare is seeking a part-time Community Gardening Coordinator to lead our Growing Together project and support the coordination of our green spaces and outdoor community hub.

This hands-on role combines gardening with community development, using our spaces to bring people together, improve wellbeing and connect neighbours with nature and the local community. You will manage a small team of freelance gardeners and volunteers across our projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Growing Together project and support the ongoing coordination of our green spaces and outdoor community hub.
• Coordinate a small team of freelance gardeners, nature-based practitioners, volunteers and community participants.
• Use our green spaces as a tool to bring people together to improve wellbeing and create opportunities for people to connect with nature, their neighbours and the local community.
• Work with the Community Investment Team and Our Neighbourhood Network project to support outdoor spaces.
