Guy's & St Thomas' Foundation in London is seeking an experienced Community Fundraising Manager to lead a four-strong team and grow a well established community fundraising programme. Reporting to the Head of Community & Events, you will guide strategic and operational delivery to drive income and supporter engagement.
You will develop people, shape growth, manage budgets and build partnerships to maximise fundraising opportunities across the programme.
Community fundraising is one of the most important and inspiring ways supporters can make a difference, whether that's through personal challenges, local events, in memory fundraising, patient and family fundraising, or creative "do your own" activities.
Guy's & St Thomas' Foundation is looking for an experienced Community Fundraising Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for delivering an established and growing community fundraising programme.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a people-focused fundraiser who enjoys developing people, creating direction and bringing out the best in others. While community fundraising experience is important for the role, this opportunity is ultimately about leading a successful team and ensuring a strong supporter experience that drives sustainable income growth.
Reporting to the Head of Community & Events, you'll provide both strategic and operational leadership for a well-established community fundraising programme that raises significant income each year through a variety of supporter-led activities.
You'll lead a team of four colleagues, supporting their development, performance and progression while ensuring the team continues to deliver excellent supporter stewardship and ambitious fundraising results.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a brilliant team, a collaborative culture and a genuine appetite to build on existing success.
We're particularly interested in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate strong leadership and people management experience. You may already be managing a community fundraising team, or leading a comparable supporter-facing fundraising function, but you'll have an ability to develop people, set direction and deliver results through others.
This is an opportunity to lead an established and highly valued fundraising programme supporting one of the UK's largest NHS Foundation Trusts.
You'll join a collaborative and ambitious fundraising team, work alongside talented colleagues and have the opportunity to shape the future of community fundraising across three well-loved charity brands.
If you're an experienced community fundraising professional with a passion for developing people and leading high-performing teams, we'd love to hear from you.
