Job summary

The Talent Set are partnering with a fantastic charity to recruit a Community Fundraiser. This role focuses on developing and growing a diverse portfolio of community supporters, including individuals, schools, community groups, faith organisations, and local businesses.

You will build meaningful relationships and inspire communities to raise funds and awareness for the charity's work. The position offers a permanent contract with salary between £28k and £30k.

Qualifications

• Some experience in fundraising, community engagement, supporter engagement, or a customer-facing role.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with community supporters, including individuals, schools, local groups, and businesses, delivering excellent stewardship and supporter care.
• Identify, recruit, and support new fundraising supporters, helping to grow community fundraising income and engagement.
• Provide guidance and resources to supporters undertaking fundraising activities, ensuring a positive and rewarding experience.
• Deliver engaging supporter communications, impact reporting, and recognition activities to maximise retention and long-term support.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor fundraising performance, and represent the charity at community events and activities.
