Job summary

St Catherine's Hospice in Central Lancashire is seeking a friendly Fundraising Assistant to support events, campaigns and community activities. You will help deliver fundraising opportunities, assist with materials, and build positive relationships with supporters, volunteers and the public, both at the hospice and in the community.

You don\'t need prior fundraising experience; just be enthusiastic, organized and ready to get involved.

Qualifications

• No prior fundraising experience required.
• Enjoy meeting people and getting involved.
• Experience in customer service, events, hospitality, retail, administration or community engagement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of fundraising events, campaigns and community activities.
• Attend cheque presentations, community events and corporate activities as a representative of St Catherine's Hospice.
• Prepare event materials, fundraising resources and participant packs.
• Help with event setup, on-the-day activities and pack-down afterwards.
• Prepare fundraising materials and help bring campaigns and initiatives to life.
• Manage fundraising buckets and donation boxes, including preparation, distribution and record-keeping.
• Make thank-you calls to supporters and donors and ensure they have an excellent experience.
• Keep supporter information accurate and up to date on the CRM system.
• Help with practical fundraising tasks from preparing prizes to creating hampers and event materials.
