Job summary

NFP PEOPLE is seeking a Fundraising and Communications Officer in the United Kingdom to strengthen relationships with supporters, schools and local partners. The role blends fundraising and communications to grow voluntary income and raise the charity’s profile.

Working with the Fundraising and Partnerships Manager, you will deliver strategy, manage campaigns, and help create engaging content while balancing community events, digital fundraising, and supporter engagement. DBS check required.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in charity fundraising or related community fundraising roles.
• Proven ability to build relationships with schools, businesses and community groups.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop community fundraising opportunities to increase income and awareness.
• Build relationships with schools, universities, businesses, and local groups.
• Represent the charity at events, talks and networking opportunities.
• Create and deliver fundraising campaigns and events.
• Produce engaging social media and website content, including case studies and videos.
• Support digital fundraising campaigns, online giving and newsletters.
• Steward supporters and fundraisers, ensuring they feel valued and connected to the charity.
• Monitor fundraising activity, budgets and campaign performance.
