Job summary

Sue Lambert Trust is seeking a committed Community Fundraising Co-ordinator to grow our community fundraising programme, inspire supporters and build lasting relationships across Norfolk.

You will develop campaigns, recruit volunteers, and engage local businesses and groups to raise vital funds for support services for survivors. The role includes event planning, donor care and representing the charity at community events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the charity’s community fundraising programme.
• Recruit, support and steward community fundraisers, volunteers and supporters.
• Build relationships with local businesses, clubs and community groups.
• Identify and secure new community fundraising opportunities.
• Plan and deliver fundraising events and challenge events.
• Provide outstanding supporter care from first enquiry through to thanking and recognition.
• Represent the Sue Lambert Trust at community events, networking opportunities and presentations.
• Work with colleagues to promote fundraising campaigns across digital and offline channels.
• Monitor fundraising income, supporter activity and campaign performance using our CRM.

Every day, the Sue Lambert Trust supports survivors of sexual abuse, sexual violence and rape across Norfolk. We believe everyone deserves to be heard, believed and supported and we need a passionate fundraiser to help our community make that possible.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and people-focused Community Fundraising Co-ordinator to grow our community fundraising programme, inspire supporters and build lasting relationships that make a real difference.

About the Role:

You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering our community fundraising programme, supporting individuals, community groups and local businesses to raise vital funds for the Sue Lambert Trust.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll build strong relationships with supporters, identify new fundraising opportunities and help deliver inspiring campaigns throughout the year.

No two days will be the same. You might be cheering on runners at a half marathon, helping a supporter organise their own fundraising event, or planning our next flagship fundraising challenge.

Personal Specification:

Essential Experience and Skills -

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in fundraising, sales, customer service, relationship management or community engagement.
• Confidence building relationships with a wide range of people.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small team.
• Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends to support fundraising events.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Desirable Experience and Skills

• Experience working within the charity sector.
• Experience organising events or community activities.
• Knowledge of community fundraising or supporter stewardship.
• Experience delivering presentations or speaking to groups.
• An understanding of fundraising regulations and best practice.
• A genuine passion for making a positive difference.
