Job summary

Royal Mail Group is hiring a Delivery Postie with Driving in Gravesend. The role is permanent, 28 hours per week across five days, with Sunday work during peak times and shifts spanning mornings to early evenings.

You will deliver mail in the local community, staying active and engaging with customers daily. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, full uniform, pension, development opportunities and family-friendly support.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk long distances in all weather.
• Must have good customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
• Full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mail and parcels to residential and business addresses in Gravesend area.
• Work 28 hours per week, across 5 days, including Sundays as required.
• Operate during shifts between 09:00-14:30, 12:00-17:30, or 14:00-20:00; participate in 10:00-16:00 Sunday shifts.
