Job summary

Zebra People builds Product, Design and Engineering teams for mission-led startups and scaleups across fintech, healthtech and climatetech. We host a calendar of community events and seek a Community & Events Manager to own attendee quality, content, and relationships that energise our gatherings.

You’ll curate speakers, manage logistics two+ months out, and develop a recurring breakfast series for senior leaders while keeping the community relevant between events.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience building or running a community or events alongside studies.
• Experience growing audience, membership or attendance is highly valued.
• Excellent written communication across LinkedIn, email and community channels.

Responsibilities

• Curate attendees and speakers for events against personas.
• Source and secure lightning talks for editions.
• Manage end-to-end event logistics with long lead times and backups.
• Launch and run a recurring breakfast series for senior leaders.
• Plan and run other community events as they arise.
• Record talks and create videos/clips for a content calendar.
• Manage community channels to keep members engaged year-round.
