Omexom in Scotland seeks an experienced Community & Social Value Officer to act as the main link between Omexom, local communities, project stakeholders, and the supply chain. You will lead delivery and monitoring of social value commitments, build relationships, and drive community benefits.

You will organise engagement activities, coordinate with schools and charities, report outcomes using LOOP, and support local employment initiatives across project locations in Scotland.

Qualifications

• Experience in a community engagement, stakeholder relations, social value, public affairs, or communications role.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience planning and delivering community events and engagement activities.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Ability to analyse issues, identify solutions, and handle sensitive situations.

Responsabilités

• Act as the primary contact for local communities, councils, residents, businesses, schools, charities, and authorities.
• Develop and implement Community Engagement Plans for transmission and infrastructure projects.
• Organise and attend community meetings, drop-in sessions, site visits, and public consultations.
• Drive delivery and monitoring of project Social Value Plans and commitments.
• Coordinate school visits, careers events, STEM activities, and employability programmes.
• Identify opportunities to support local charities and voluntary organisations.
• Prepare communications and updates on project activities and milestones.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, HSE, Communications, Procurement, Construction, Social Value and Environmental teams.
