Job summary

The University of Chester is seeking a Community Liaison Co-Ordinator to engage with residential communities across Chester, Warrington and Birkenhead, building strong partnerships with local authorities, landlords and emergency services. You will support Student Support Services and help promote responsible community engagement among students.

The role involves preparing briefing papers, representing the University in community forums, and providing outreach during Open Days and Welcome Week,

Responsibilities

• Engage with residential communities in Chester, Warrington and Birkenhead and liaise with external stakeholders and statutory partners.
• Prepare reports, briefing papers and presentations to support decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide operational and representational support at Open Days, applicant events and other community-facing activities.
• Represent the University on local community forums and multi-agency networks to improve safety and wellbeing.
• Be flexible to work evenings or weekends for meetings, Welcome Week and community incidents.
