Job summary

EKFB is seeking a Community Engagement Team Coordinator in Milton Keynes to support events, meetings and engagement materials, coordinating internal and external resources and ensuring documentation control for engagement briefs.

The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to work independently, and a full driving licence; knowledge of the rail/infrastructure sector is desirable.

  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft packages).
  • Can work independently and is proactive.
  • Knowledge of the rail/infrastructure/construction industry (desirable).
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

  • Coordinate events and meetings for the community engagement programme.
  • Provide administrative support to the engagement team and manage engagement materials.
  • Raise requisitions and ensure invoices are processed for engagement activities.
  • Draft presentations and research information for meetings and ensure documentation controls are followed.

About The Role

This role sits within the EKFB Interface &Stakeholder Management team reporting to the Head of Engagement. The role will provide support to the engagement team in delivering to the HS2 Community Engagement Framework, by ensuring events and meetings are arranged, and suitable engagement materials are prepared and communicated to external stakeholders.

We are looking for Community Engagement Team Coordinator to join our team based in Milton Keynes.
In this role you will provide administrative support to the community engagement team and coordinate community engagement activities.
You will also coordinate internal and external resources needed for community engagement events. Raising requisitions for any purchase orders and ensuring invoices are processed. Drafting of presentations and researching information to contribute to meetings and ensure document control processes are followed for engagement materials, presentations and briefings
