Dŵr Cymru Cyf is seeking a proactive Community Engagement Officer to help devise, manage and deliver a targeted customer engagement strategy for zonal studies. You will be the main contact for customers, coordinate materials, and organise community events and school visits to explain the scheme and its benefits.

Hybrid working, with two office days (Mon-Tue), and opportunities to support the Welsh Water communications team while engaging with local authorities, contractors and communities.

• Managing and resolving complaints from customers, stakeholders and other external bodies.

Mansioni

• Being the main point of contact for customers impacted by our zonal studies work and manning an information van.
• Managing the drafting, printing and distribution of customer correspondence and other communications materials.
• Arranging community events, exhibitions, surgeries as necessary, door knocking as required.
• Driving awareness among local customers of the major investment to enhance drinking water supplies.
• Assisting the Community Engagement Manager to deliver the targeted communication plan and inform stakeholders about the benefits of the scheme.
• Working with contract partners and staff to ensure project sites are branded and recognized correctly.
• Raising purchase orders when required and supporting the Community Engagement Manager.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and updating the zonal area on the website.
• Liaising with Education Manager to arrange school visits and site visits for stakeholders.
