Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water is recruiting a Community Engagement Officer for a 12-month temporary secondment in Caernarfon. The role focuses on devising and delivering a targeted customer engagement strategy for zonal studies, engaging communities, schools, businesses, and local authorities.

You will support the Communications team, manage stakeholder relationships, coordinate events, and raise awareness of the major investment in drinking water. Hybrid working two days in the office is available.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering first class customer service, face to face and via other channels.
• Developing relationships with partner organisations e.g. contractors and local authorities.
• Managing and resolving complaints from customers and stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Devise, manage and implement a targeted customer engagement strategy for zonal studies.
• Support the communications team with external relations work.
• Serve as main point of contact for customers impacted by zonal studies.
• Arrange community events, exhibitions, surgeries and door-to-door activity.
• Drive awareness of the major investment to enhance drinking water supplies.
• Coordinate communications materials and distribute customer correspondence.
• Liaise with schools, businesses and local authorities about project benefits.
• Update social media and the 'In Your Area' section of the Welsh Water website.
