NHS Scotland is seeking a Staff Nurse District Nurse for the Three Towns District Nursing area based at Saltcoats Health Centre. The post is part-time (24 hours per week) with a permanent contract and requires a UK driving licence.

You will assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate nursing programmes of care for diverse community groups, while managing caseloads in the absence of the Charge Nurse and supervising staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in nursing is essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and the care team.
• Capability to work independently and manage caseload in community settings.

Responsabilités

• Assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate district nursing care plans.
• Manage caseload in the absence of the district nursing Charge Nurse; supervise and redeploy staff.
• Provide high standard nursing care within the Three Towns District Nursing area.
