Job summary

Inspiring Women Network is seeking a Community Development Officer based in Truro, Cornwall, on a 12 months fixed term contract. This role requires creating engagement opportunities for global majority and minoritised women while managing community relationships.

Ideal candidates should possess a deep understanding of the barriers facing these communities and have experience in project development. This position offers a part-time commitment of 15 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable understanding of barriers to participation for minoritised women.
• Experience in developing and managing community projects.
• Ability to motivate and engage individuals within a community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with diverse individuals and groups.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities and events.
• Support communications for IWN and increase community engagement.
