Job summary

Inspiring Women Network is seeking two Outreach Workers for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Truro, Cornwall. The role involves connecting with women from minoritised backgrounds, providing advocacy, and support.

The ideal candidates will have experience in community outreach or social work, and possess strong interpersonal skills. This role is part-time with a salary of £13.45 per hour and flexibility in working hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in community outreach, social work, or a related field.
• A demonstrable understanding of the issues facing minoritised women.
• Ability to travel in accordance with the requirements of the post.

Responsibilities

• Connect with and support women, particularly from minoritised communities.
• Provide advocacy, befriending, and support to women facing challenges.
• Motivate and engage individuals to promote community involvement.
