Job summary

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust in Witney is seeking a Dental Officer to deliver routine and urgent NHS dental care for adult special care and paediatric patients across Oxfordshire. The role is full or part time with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week and on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Qualifications

• Primary Dental Qualification
• Registered with General Dental Council (GDC)
• Enhanced DBS clearance
• Current performer number

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality NHS dental care for adults and paediatric patients in various settings
• Manage day-to-day activities of the dental surgery with the team
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Dental Care Professionals in line with GDC regulations
• Maintain accurate records and report to authorities as required
• Participate in governance, audits and service development
