Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible postal delivery drivers in a role that blends driving and daily delivery duties. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels with pride, and working various shifts to keep the country moving.

Procedures include delivering to a route on foot when required and passing a driving assessment on start. This is a temporary position with potential for permanency.

Qualifications

• Have a valid full UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Be physically fit to walk up to 20,000 steps per day and carry mail bags up to 16 kg.
• Be flexible to adapt shifts at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your neighbourhood using a Royal Mail delivery van and on-foot duties.
• Complete route segments safely and maintain high service standards in all weather.
