Job summary

Coventry City Council is hiring a Community Co-ordinator to work with communities and voluntary partners to transform ideas into action across Coventry. You’ll help residents set up self-help groups, support a community centre to grow, and engage in projects like food hubs and social supermarkets, bringing energy and practical help to people.

This hands-on, people-centred role offers variety and a real chance to make a difference.

Qualifications

• Passionate about strengthening communities.
• Enthusiastic and full of positive energy.
• Great with people and confident supporting groups.
• Open to learning – we value attitude and communication skills more than years of experience.
• Experience with community or voluntary groups is helpful, but not essential.
