Job summary

Prime Recruitment Services Limited seeks a Cleansing Operative in Lisburn to join the Operational Services Team. You will contribute to refuse collection, street cleansing, and amenity collection, working outdoors across public spaces to keep areas clean, safe and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and commitment to cleanliness.

• Willingness to undertake training as required.
• Basic health and safety regulations understanding (training provided).
• Physical fitness for manual tasks in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleansing duties: litter picking, sweeping, and waste removal from roads and spaces.
• Collect household, commercial waste, bulky items, and dumped waste.
• Assist with disposal of dead or fallen animals.
• Support winter maintenance: ice/snow removal and salting.
• Complete tasks on schedule and report workload changes to supervisor.
• Follow health and safety regulations and use PPE; assist public with information.
• Attend training and act as a first point of contact for crew and supervisors.
