Herts at Home is seeking Community Care Assistants to work in Hitchin, Letchworth and surrounding areas. The role offers full-time, part-time and bank contracts with shifts 7am-2pm or 4pm-10pm; drivers with own vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to own vehicle are essential.
• We are currently unable to offer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and support to clients in their own homes and in the community.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and hygiene.
• Administer medication safely and according to care plans.
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes to healthcare professionals.
• Support with meal planning and preparation to meet nutritional needs.
• Carry out moving and handling tasks per client needs and plans.
• Provide companionship and encouragement to promote wellbeing and independence.
• Maintain accurate records of care delivered and observations.
