Job summary

Bluebird Care is seeking a Community Care Lead to support customers across West Dorset and Purbeck. The role involves liaising with customers and families, ensuring high standards of care, and supporting staff.

The position offers a mix of community, office and home working and requires travel across the area. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in care, be prepared to progress NVQ/QCF Level 3 in HSC, hold a valid driving licence, and be adept at developing care plans.

Qualifications

  • Minimum NVQ/QCF Level 2 in HSC and progression to Level 3.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to motivate staff.
  • Experience in developing and managing care plans.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience in care sector.
  • Valid driving licence and own car are essential.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in home care.
  • Proficiency with IT systems used in healthcare settings.

PLEASE NOTE A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE & MINIMUM NVQ/QCF 2 H&SC IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION. THE ROLE REQUIRES TRAVEL ACROSS WEST DORSET AND PURBECK.
