Qualifications

  • Full UK driver's license and access to your own vehicle are required.
  • Relevant experience is appreciated but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship care and assist with personal care tasks.
  • Administer medication and prepare meals for clients.
  • Promote dignity, independence, and support social activities.

Education

Relevant experience in care (preferred)

Care Role Responsibilities:

  • Meal preparation
  • Companionship care
  • Administering medication
  • Providing a high standard of care
  • Supporting individuals with personal care
  • Understanding individual health and well-being needs
  • Encouraging and supporting people to participate in social activities
  • Promoting choice, dignity, independence, and respect
  • Accurately recording the support provided and communicating effectively with team members

Job Requirements:

  • A full UK driver's license and access to your own vehicle are required.
  • While relevant experience and qualifications are appreciated, they are not essential for this role.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to show empathy and compassion
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Understanding and implementation of industry regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Positive professional and personal references

Additional Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license and vehicle ownership are essential.
  • All staff members must undergo an enhanced DBS check. If you do not currently have one, we can arrange this after the interview.

Salary: Up to £11.92 per hour.

  • Day shift
  • Flexitime
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability
