Job summary

Dennyson Care is seeking compassionate Community Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes across Ilford. You will help individuals maintain independence and dignity through high-quality, person-centered care.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided. The role offers flexible full-time and part-time hours, a friendly team, and ongoing guidance to build a rewarding career in care.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full training provided.
• Must have driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• DBS check current or updated within the year.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Caring, patient and reliable attitude.
• Flexible to work between 7am–10pm.

Responsibilities

• Supporting service users with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting).
• Assisting with meal preparation and hydration.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Helping with medication prompts where required.
• Supporting with light household tasks.
• Following care plans and reporting any concerns.
• Promoting independence and respect at all times.

Community Care Assistant

Dennyson Care provides personalisedhome-based care services to help people live safely and comfortably in their own homes, including regular home care assistance with daily tasks, personal care, meal support, medication reminders and companionship, as well as 24/7 live-in care, short-term respite care, dementia and specialised support tailored to individual needs, and light domestic help to maintain wellbeing and independence

About the Role

Requirements
