Job summary

Herts at Home Limited in Letchworth is seeking a compassionate Community Care Assistant to support clients at home and in the community. You will supervise and mentor clients, promoting independence and wellbeing through personalised care plans.

Role: Community Care Assistant

Location: Letchworth

Hours : Part time - various contracts available 10 - 30 hours per week. Bank work also available

Pay Rate: £15.53 Per Hour & 40p Per Mile

Working Hours: Mornings 7am - 2pm Evenings 4pm - 10pm. Some weekend work would be beneficial

Duties:

• Provide direct care and support to clients in their homes or community settings

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules

• Monitor and record clients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals

• Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring clients' dietary needs are met

• Carrying out moving and assisting techniques specific to the clients needs.

• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress -Medication Administration
