Right at Home UK is seeking warm, dependable Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes across Bishop's Stortford, Takeley, Dunmow, Braintree and surrounding areas. Flexible shifts are available (7am–3pm, 2pm–10pm or 5pm–10pm) with every other weekend, plus mileage paid and travel time covered.

We offer competitive hourly rates (£14.20–£14.40), a £500 joining bonus, superb training, and ongoing support to help you grow in a caring career.

Qualifications

• Must have empathy and reliability to support clients in their homes.
• Demonstrate flexibility with shift patterns and travel between areas.
• Strong communication and compassionate bedside manner.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support medication administration and appointments as needed.
• Help with shopping, meal prep, housekeeping and mobility.
• Provide responsive, person-centred care and report changes to supervisors.

Care Assistant – Full-time or Part-time

About the Role:

We’re looking for warm, dependable Care Assistants to support our clients in their own homes with tasks such as:

• Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day

• Personal care

• Administering medication

• Assisting Clients with washing and dressing

• Shopping

• Housekeeping

• Meal preparation

• Taking Clients for appointments or outings

What we’re looking for:

• Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle

• Be able to offer availability either early mornings (from 7am), afternoon (from 2pm) or evening (from 5pm) and every other weekend

• Commit to attending a 3-day training course

• Live locally to Bishop's Stortford, Takeley, Dunmow, Braintree and surrounding areas

• Have or be willing to obtain business vehicle insurance

If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail sales assistant, customer service, hairdressers/beauticians, receptionist, administrator, cleaners, warehouse workers and delivery drivers. This could be the start of your new career, with our full support and outstanding training, anything is possible if you put your head and heart into it.
