Job summary

Prestige Nursing & Care Angus is recruiting a Community Care Assistant to provide personal care, medication support and meal preparation at clients' homes in Angus. Flexible shifts are available, including zero-hour or contracted hours, with driver required to reach clients in their homes.

Training will be provided and progression opportunities offered. You'll join a supportive local team, with training, DBS checks, and ongoing professional development to ensure high-quality community care

Qualifications

  • Experience desirable but not essential; full training provided.
  • Driver requirement noted for role.
  • Flexibility with shifts and part-time options could be available.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to clients to remain in their homes by assisting with personal care, medication support and meals.
  • Ensure safety and dignity during care visits and maintain professional boundaries.
  • Attend onboarding and training as required and complete DBS/Background checks.

Job description

Job title – Community Care Assistant
Location – Montrose, Kirriemuir and Forfar.
Hours / shifts – Zero Hour – Full and Part time shifts available
Hourly pay – 13.45 weekdays, 13.83 weekends
Driver Required
£500 Introductory Offer

£250 once completed onboarding and training; £250 on completion of 200 hours.

What our client is looking for

We are looking for carers to support our clients to remain within their homes by providing support with personal care (showering, continence assistance) medication support and meal preparation.

4/3 working pattern.

Week 1: Mon, Tues, Sat and Sun

Week 2: Wed, Thurs, Fri

Times: Shifts start at 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm.

Enquiries welcome from those looking to work on a part time basis for mornings or evenings only, same shift pattern applies

Due to client locations we require a driver for this role.

Do you need experience?

Experience desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

In line with CQC & Care Inspectorate regulations, we require and will undertake enhanced DBS/PVG, right to work, reference and employment history checks in line with Government guidelines for this role and safer recruitment best practice.
