Job summary

L&Q is seeking a Communities Programming Lead to drive regeneration and redevelopment projects across London and the Northwest. You will lead resident insights and programming, coordinate across development partners and internal teams, and visit sites to ensure programmes stay on track.

Reporting to the Head of Communities in the Property and Investment division, you will own the team’s programming functions, align with the business plan targets, and manage resourcing for multiple schemes in our

Salary: 48,691- 53,725 per annum (London) (London weighted salary)

Join our Communities Team at L&Q:

• Come and lead forward planning, profiling and resourcing on our regeneration, rehousing and redevelopment projects across London and the northwest of England.
• Take a key role in our redevelopment pipeline by leading on resident insights and programming for a range of proposed redevelopment projects.
• Spend time visiting our existing and emerging sites across our portfolio.
• Use your hands on regeneration experience to support estate regeneration ballots, consultation, co-design and planning for resident engagement.
• Report directly into our Head of Communities in our Property and Investment division and work closely with our Development and Regeneration team in New Homes.

Your impact in the role:

• Your work will focus on our redevelopment pipeline which links to our growth plan ambitions. This includes leading on resident engagement plans and landlord offers.
• You will lead on relationships with a wide range of teams across L&Q, as well as development partners, contractors, consultants and directly with residents and local stakeholders.
• You will work on multiple schemes which have been identified within our growth pipeline as well as existing regeneration, rehousing and remediation schemes across London and the Northwest of England.
• You will also own the Communities team programming functions, including our business plan targets, team resourcing, site office planning and general programme management.

What you'll bring:

• Highly developed housing, regeneration or community development experience gained in a similar fast-past resident or development environment.
• A proven track record of working in a high volume, results driven development programme.
• Ability to think innovatively and seek solutions whilst working against deadlines to achieve objectives.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to source and present innovative solutions.
• Knowledge and experience of relevant legislation, tenancies and licences impacting rehousing, including Compulsory Purchase Orders and GLA estate regeneration ballots.
• Strong track record of using project programme software, including developing complex programmes.
• Demonstrable stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with a wider range of stakeholders.
